So More Joy Day starts in 25 minutes in my neck of the woods and while I have some ideas (most of which will be posted late in the day) sdwolfpup suggest that we maybe put up a small list of what would make us have more joy in our own lives so here's that list for me. All fannish since that's how I roll.

1. Fic/Comment fic for any of my usual fandoms/pairings! Suggestions:
- Cedric/&Luna. I'm always hoping someone will fall down the rabbit hole of Cedric Diggory/Luna Lovegood fic for me and I doubt that will ever stop being a request.
- Winter Soldier/Black Widow
- Captain Marvel being who she is with anyone, though Jessica and Steve are always good choices.
- Hawkeye/&Hawkeye.
- Any fic where my favorite characters are forced into a parental role and have to carry around a little kid and interact for good or for bad. This is a (nearly) bulletproof not!kink that I will never apologize for.

2. If you haven't already, go read Hawkeye or Captain Marvel or Winter Soldier and fall in love with them. And then come back and talk to me about them! Or if you're already reading them, come talk to me about them! Tumblr is fantastic but I hate how awkward the talking bits are over there.

3. I miss y'all! Come talk to me about what's up with you and how things are going and what fannish things you love now that maybe I don't yet.

4. Give me your best tips for traveling over seas! What are some common mistakes to avoid? I'm headed for the Philippines for two months and don't travel much!

Here is a link to my Yuletide gift. In case you don't follow me on twitter, I had to default on writing due to illness but apparently that doesn't preclude me from getting a gift anyway. *has guilt*

But. BUT! The yulteide story I got for a gift is Hawkeye featuring both Clint and Kate (with Carol and Jess getting married. I know, right?!). It's great and has fantastic Hawkeye voice and I just love it. Go gush in the comments!

Dude, y'all. My pull box was so crazy last night. I had 10 books (one was a special ordered Hellboy from a couple of weeks ago) and there were three missing. Even with my generous discount, this is ridiculous. I hear the next two weeks are pretty light, though. That'd be good.

I'll be back with my thoughts on them (which I know exactly none of you care about) this weekend once I've had time to actually read the suckers.

Sigh. I didn't mean to just have this account sit here for 3 years. Oops. LJ is still my primary digs (though I spend more time on twitter and tumblr these days. I plan to start doing the crossposting thing from here on out but we'll see how quickly the laziness drags me down.
