I need to start doing smaller posts more frequently instead of an end of the week catch all but here we go.

Thing, the first: Tomorrow, my little brother (He's 18 now, which is crazy) and I are driving up to and back from Boulder with some friends to go see Punch Brothers and Milk Carton Kids. Colorado hasn't been much for snow yet, but of course, of course, this weekend they and northern NM are getting snow. I'm hoping for not much so that we can make it back through Raton but we'll see. I'm in that mode where I actually don't want to go but I know it will most likely be a blast. I just can't seem to get psyched for it at all. It's gonna be totally awesome, though. eta: Aaaaand I'm not going since my body can't seem to cooperate with me this week. Que triste. /eta

I've been a little under the weather this week and have a mild case of the winter sads. It's amazing how quickly that can sap me of motivation and joy. Meh. But all in all things are good and I have much to be grateful for and to sing about and I have no solid complaints. I will take it.
